Attention all New and Mid-Level Professionals!

Please join us at Skidmore College for our Annual New Professional & Mid-Level Institute on Friday, April 12th, 2019.

The New Professional Institute will provide new professionals the opportunity to attend sessions focused on developing in your current role as a new professional, developing your professional identity, and beginning and continuing the transition to the mid-level! See below for session topics.


The Mid-Level Institute will provide professionals the opportunity to attend small-group sessions, connect and learn from seasoned student affairs professionals, network with regional colleagues, and learn more about how to advance your professional skill set to the next level! See below for session topics.

New Professionals should be between 0-3 years of full-time experience.
Mid-level Professionals should have a minimum of 3 years of Residence Director type experience,
transitioning to or currently hold a Mid-Level Management position.

Keynote Speaker - Shaun N. Crisler - Syracuse University

NEACUHO is pleased to announce that Shaun N. Crisler will be the Keynote Speaker for The New Professional & Mid-Level Institutes at Skidmore College. He currently serves as the Associate Director of Human Resources, Inclusion and Communication in the Office of Residence Life at Syracuse University. 

There are three registration categories.

  • New Professionals - $40.00 – (Maximum of 50 participants)

  • Mid-Level Professionals - $40.00 – (Maximum of 25 participants)

  • Mentor/Presenter Registration - no cost – (No Maximum)
