Welcome to our site and membership platform! NEACUHO stands for the Northeast Association of College & University Housing Officers. We are a regional affiliate of the Association of College and University Housing Officers - International (ACUHO-I). To learn more about ACUHO-I, please visit the ACUHO-I website.

Our association represents the dedicated professionals of higher education student housing in the following states:

  • New York
  • Vermont
  • New Hampshire
  • Maine
  • Massachusetts
  • Connecticut
  • Rhode Island

If you are a faculty, staff, or student working or interested in student housing, then NEACUHO is your association. In addition, we partner with our corporate partners (furniture companies, novelty companies, entertainment, care packages, and so much more!) who provide our institutions with products and services that help us serve our residents.

If you're new to the NEACUHO or hearing about us for the first time, we suggest that you take a look at our governing documents, which includes our constitution and bylaws, to get a better understanding of the association. Each year during October, we have our annual conference which provides an excellent opportunity to meet and network with other professionals in the region, learn about products and services that are relevant to your institution's needs, and attend programming sessions so you can learn from the knowledge of your colleagues.

We know that once you attend your first NEACUHO event, you'll definitely want to get more involved. Getting involved in NEACUHO will help strengthen your leadership abilities, provide you with opportunities to network and connect with colleagues across the Northeast, and will also provide you with the opportunity to give back to the organization. The easiest way to get involved is to sign up as a presenter, join a committee, and/or volunteer or serve as a program moderator during the annual conference (this is done when you register for the conference).

NEACUHO leadership consists of the Executive Board which includes elected officers, appointed board members and chairs, as well as District Coordinators who work with specific states/areas of our region.

NEACUHO also promotes recognition throughout the region by providing awards at the annual conference.  Throughout the year leading up to our annual conference, you can view the various awards and nominate your colleagues.

We hope that you enjoyed this brief introduction to NEACUHO and our website! If you wish to get in touch with us, please feel free to contact us at any time.
