NEACUHO EMBARKS ON ITS FIRST EVER STRATEGIC PLAN
As you may know, NEACUHO has completed a self study, and our next step is to put together a strategic plan that will position the organization to move forward for the next five years. This plan will include assessments of our work at years 1, 3, and 5. I am in the process of putting together a strategic planning committee which will review the self-study recommendations and propose the next step for the Organization.
The self-study group has done an excellent job of setting the groundwork for our strategic planning effort. Although they were a small team of four, they collected a wealth of data that spanned the breadth of our membership. Now our task is to build a larger group of members representing the diversity of our region who will explore the areas of strengths and challenges that the self-study group has identified. The Strategic Plan Steering Committee will be tasked with forming into smaller Working Groups that will each focus on a specific area of recommendation put forth by the self-study group.
