Candidate Statement:

Hello! My name is Daniel Duzy. In my current role, I serve as the Coordinator of Residence Life and Retention at SUNY Corning Community College. I have been in my role for 3 years now and really enjoy what I do for the college and the students. I have also been involved with NEACUHO for almost 2 years and I truly love being apart of this wonderful organization. Through NEACUHO, I was able to meet and network with other Res Life professionals and meet new people. I currently serve as the WNY District Coordinator and it has been an honor serving in my role because I get the opportunity to meet new people and network with other Student Affairs professionals. This position has greatly enhanced my networking abilities and I would love to continue this experience and give back to the organization that I truly care about. This would not only enhance my networking but also give me the valuable tools to move forward in NEACUHO and get the opportunity to reach out to more professionals to help increase membership and en-courage involvement within NEACUHO. Within this past year, the Pandemic has not made things easy but we all still stuck together virtually to help each other through this and this is what I love most about this organization is how supportive we are towards one another and the inclusivity as well. I want to continue my role as the WNY District Coordinator position because I want to help increase involvement and engagement in NEACUHO as well as meeting new people. I want to be the go to person for WNY not only to get professionals involved but also be a support resource as well. I want to continue my role so I can continue to make a difference within NEACUHO and stay involved and connected. Thank you for taking the time to consider me for this role.
